Perth Sports Institute is seeking experienced and passionate casual Basketball Referees for inter-school sports competitions in schools across Perth for 2026/2027.
We are currently recruiting basketball referees to work with our client schools located in the following and surrounding suburbs: East Perth, Melville and Salter Point.
The season runs throughout Term 4 & Term 1, from early October till end of March 2027.
Fixtures are played on Friday afternoons from 2-3/4pm (1 or 2 games) and Saturday mornings 8.30am-9.30/10.30am.
There is no fixed commitment to participate for the entire season, referees can simply select dates that suit them.
Staff are paid fortnightly and have the potential to take on further refereeing opportunities throughout the year.

To be considered for this role, applicants must:
- Possess or be willing to obtain a Western Australian Working with Children Check (if you do not have this, you must be willing to obtain, unless you are under 18 years of age)
- Have a sound understanding of basketball rules
- Possess experience in playing, coaching or refereeing the sport
