About the role:
Located at Byrne House on the John Hunter Campus, this is an opportunity to join a small and supportive administrative team, working alongside one other Administration Officer.
As a Typist, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely typing and distribution of letters as required. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work, has exceptional attention to detail and can work efficiently while managing tasks independently.
You will be supported through comprehensive in-house training and buddying to help you settle into the role and become familiar with local processes and systems.

We are looking for someone who is:

A highly accurate and efficient typist, with the ability to type 60 words per minute with 99% accuracy

Detail-oriented and committed to producing high-quality work

Proactive, organised and able to work autonomously

A positive team player who enjoys working collaboratively

A clear and effective communicator, both verbally and in writing

Someone with a positive “can-do” attitude and a willingness to learn
No specific qualifications are required for this role. A typing test will be conducted as part of the interview process.
