What you’ll be doing
As our Duty Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of the Serpentine Jarrahdale Recreation Centre, ensuring the facility is safe, welcoming, and running smoothly for members, visitors, and staff. You'll lead and support the team, provide exceptional customer service, respond to operational and emergency situations, maintain health and safety standards, and coordinate daily activities across the centre.
We're looking for someone who is available to work Monday evenings from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Wednesdays from 4:00pm to 9:00pm.
On Monday evenings, you will oversee the delivery of our social sports competitions, complete associated administrative tasks, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for all participants and spectators.
On Wednesday evenings, you will oversee front-of-house operations, support the reception team, and ensure the centre operates smoothly while delivering excellent customer service.
You’ll be great in this role if you…
- Have previous experience in sports, recreation, or a similar operational environment is preferred
- Have previous experience in a leadership role is preferred
- Efficient at completing administrative tasks
- Can obtain a HLTAID012 First Aid Certificate
- Can obtain a National Police Certificate and Working with Children card
