What you'll be doing
The mental health clinician will deliver a high quality, comprehensive mental health service for adults experiencing serious and enduring mental health difficulties. The role involves managing a defined caseload with a focus on working with individuals who experience a complex range of needs and difficulties. Acting as a key member of the multi-disciplinary team, the mental health clinician will provide assessment and evidence based interventions using a collaborative, recovery approach and will be skilled at positive risk management. Working closely in collaboration with carers and families, and liaison with a wide range of agencies is central to the role.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, Psychologist, Occupational Therapist or eligibility for membership with AASW.
- Demonstrated ability to support personal recovery and deliver recovery focused, evidence based interventions.
