For over 50 years at Ash Bros, we’ve taken pride in processing and distributing the highest quality fresh and frozen seafood to Victorians.
We regularly service a range of clients in the hospitality industry, including 5-star Hotels, leading restaurants, sporting venues, hospitals, caterers, TAFE colleges, and seafood retailers.
Days: Monday to Friday.
Hours: Average of 38 hours p/wk.
This position include duties such as but not limited to:
- Placing seafood neatly onto trays
- Using machinery to seal products
- Order picking & packing
- Lifting & Carrying boxes
- Weighing products accurately
- Completing orders correctly
About your new role:
- Fast paced process line work
- Adhering to batch processing and quality control requirements
- Food manufacturing environment
- Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work
- 4:30am start (subject to change during busy production periods)
About you:
- Experience in the Meat, Fast Food or Retail Industries are desired - but not essential (training is provided)
- Comfortable working in a refrigerated environment
- Good communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to undertake physical and repetitive tasks
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and a drug and alcohol screen
- Flexible work attitude and possess the ability to work varied shifts depending on operational requirements including weekends and public holidays
- Committed to a safe work environment and willing to promote safety within a team
Requirements:
- Police check
- Provide at least two references
- Your own transport including a valid Driver's License
