About the Opportunity
This role is responsible for bridging the gap between finance and business operations by analysing financial data, identifying trends, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for completing month-end processes and play a pivotal role in financial budgeting and forecasting, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop accurate financial projections.
This is a permanent, full time role, with a base salary of $114,000 plus superannuation. This role is predominantly work from home, in addition to our Box Hill offices 1 to 2 days per week. The position has become available due to a retiring staff member.
As the Finance Business Analyst, you will:

Provide Sector, General, Executive, Area and Centre Managers with informed analysis

Assist in the provision of insightful industry analysis to better enable decision making

Develop informative interpretation and analysis of business drivers to ensure our internal stakeholders are provided with information that assists decision making

Financial Reporting and Analysis: prepare reviews of month end and KPI reporting through an understanding of key business drivers and performance metrics, providing financial commentaries of business results

Support Business Planning in consultation with General Managers to assist with strategic direction

Projects; assisting with financial modelling for upcoming business cases
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have 3-5 years in a similar role with a passionate approach. Displaying exceptional communication to varying range of stakeholder groups partnered with strategic mindset to achieve business outcomes.
In addition, you will:

Possess a customer centric approach

Possess strong communication skills

Build strong and positive relationships with the Executive Managers, Area Managers and Centre Managers, providing them with insightful sector analysis

The ability to build relationships with external consultants and partners

Have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power BI

Be able to communicate in an articulate, clear and constructive way and adapt your communication style to suit different people
Desirable knowledge and experience:

CPA/CA Qualified or working towards

Tertiary finance qualification
