We are seeking an enthusiastic, well-presented and outgoing Outreach and Student Support Officer to join our team. This role supports students through the enrolment and learning journey, while also building strong community relationships and supporting the delivery of ACE-funded programs.
Key responsibilities
- Provide front-line support to students in person, by phone and by email.
- Meet with learners prior to enrolment to provide course advice and assess support needs.
- Assist with USI, enrolment documentation and digital learning support.
- Facilitate workshops and study sessions to support student completion.
- Visit learners at community hubs and offsite locations.
- Support partnerships, outreach and community engagement activities.
- Help acquit ACE funding allocations and meet KPI requirements.
- Prepare reports and maintain accurate records.
About you
- Previous experience in student support, outreach, community services or education.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Well spoken, well presented and confident engaging with a range of people.
- Outgoing, approachable and able to work independently.
- Strong digital skills and confidence with learning management systems.
- Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable car.
- Ability to meet KPI requirements and support ACE funding acquittal.
Pay: $30.00 per hour
