About the Role
A fantastic opportunity has become available for a motivated and patient-focused Casual Pharmacist to join our United Chemists Yorketown team.
This position is ideal for a pharmacist seeking regular casual work in a supportive regional pharmacy environment.
You will work one weekend per fortnight, consisting of:
Friday: 9:00am – 5:30pm
Saturday: 9:00am – 12:00pm
You will be the sole pharmacist on duty during these shifts, supported by an experienced and capable pharmacy team.
Private accommodation is also available if required, as well as competitive hourly rates!
What's Required?
Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent)
Current General Registration as a Pharmacist with AHPRA (without conditions or undertakings)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
Retail pharmacy experience is desirable
The right to live and work in Australia
About You
This role would suit either an experienced pharmacist or a newly registered pharmacist looking for a flexible position within a supportive community pharmacy.
You enjoy building relationships with customers, providing professional healthcare advice, and counselling patients on the quality use of medicines. You are confident working independently while collaborating effectively with pharmacy staff.
Responsibilities Include:
Ensuring the accurate and safe dispensing of medications
Managing dispensary operations during your shifts
Providing exceptional customer service and patient care
Delivering professional pharmacy services
Supporting the achievement of pharmacy service and professional care objectives
Maintaining compliance with all pharmacy regulations and professional standards
