You may have been part of some big projects before, but this work is legacy-building.
Every day will be different and you’ll thrive in the fast-paced environment that will see you embedded in our frontline, connecting with millions of people from across NSW.
In this role, you'll:
Work within the Coordinator General Division as part of the Renewable Energy Zones (REZ) Coordination team. You'll lead the planning and scheduling of Over Size Over Mass (OSOM) movements supporting some of NSW's largest renewable energy projects.
You'll lead a specialist team (2) responsible for bringing together the planning and scheduling OSOM movements, including the consideration of network constraints, permits, operational requirements and stakeholder needs to support OSOM movements across NSW between port and site.
You will be required to use available tools and network data to assess routes, identify potential constraints and opportunities to ensure movements can be delivered safely and efficiently across the transport network.
This is a fast-paced environment with plenty of moving parts, competing priorities and grey areas to work through. You'll need to be comfortable tackling complex challenges, making decisions and finding a way forward when the answer isn't always obvious.
Ultimately, you'll play a key role in keeping major projects moving while balancing safety, compliance and network outcomes.
This is a permanent role. The home office location is within Sydney CBD and will require regular travel to Newcastle and Regional NSW with advanced notice.
