Lighting & Energy Conservation Australia (LECA) is seeking a full-time Office Manager to organise and control our office operations, administrative systems and office personnel while supporting our growing renewable energy business.

About the role
The Office Manager organises and controls the day to day functions and resources of our office, including administrative systems, office procedures and office personnel. You will ensure the smooth and efficient running of our St Kilda Road office by coordinating office services, supervising administrative staff, and supporting the sales and customer service teams to deliver exceptional outcomes for our solar and energy efficiency customers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Contribute to the planning, review and continuous improvement of office services, setting office service priorities and standards.
- Organise, implement and monitor office administrative systems, procedures and workflows to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies.
- Allocate and coordinate office resources, including human resources, workspace, equipment and office supplies, within agreed budgets.
- Supervise and support administrative and customer service staff, including assigning work, monitoring performance and maintaining a positive, professional team culture.
- Oversee records management and office accounts, including maintaining accurate customer, project and financial documentation in our CRM and related systems.
- Ensure office equipment, IT and facilities are maintained, and manage relationships with external suppliers, service providers and landlords.
- Monitor compliance with work health and safety requirements and ensure office practices align with relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
- Coordinate personnel-related activities for the office such as onboarding, training coordination, performance review processes, timesheet and payroll administration support
Qualifications, skills and experience
- Relevant tertiary qualification such as an Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in business administration, management or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven ability to organise and control office operations, including supervision of administrative staff and coordination of office services.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Solid proficiency with computer systems, CRM software and Microsoft Office (or similar) and confidence learning new digital tools.
- A positive, solutions focused attitude and an interest in renewable energy and sustainability.
