What you will do as the Learning and Capability Senior Advisor:
- Contribute to capability projects linked to the ACCC Strategy, including reviewing our capability framework, creating a skills taxonomy, and strengthening workforce capability.
- Contribute to the design and development of contemporary learning products, resources and guidance that are engaging, accessible, practical and focused on improving employee capability and behaviour.
- Work in partnership with subject matter experts and business areas to identify learning needs, shape content, test ideas and create learning that is accurate, relevant and easy to use.
- Develop and maintain key relationships with internal teams, business stakeholders, governance committees, and external entities to contribute to the ongoing delivery of the learning, capability and talent work program for the team.
- Support team business processes including project planning, budget tracking, records management and continuous improvement of processes and standard operating procedures.
About you
The Learning and Capability Senior Advisor requires demonstrated experience in:
- Capability development including a strong understanding of APS capability and strategic frameworks.
- Contributing to the design of contemporary learning products, resources or programs that are engaging, practical and focused on building capability, changing behaviour and supporting workplace application.
- Partnering with subject matter experts and stakeholders to understand business needs, influence outcomes, and deliver fit for purpose learning and capability development.
- Strong project management skills with experience in successfully delivering outcomes to deadline, managing competing priorities, using initiative and responding flexibly.
- Writing clearly for different audiences, including employees, managers, senior leaders and governance committees.
The following job specific criteria are also highly desirable:
- Relevant qualifications in learning and development, organisational development, education, instructional design or related field.
- Experience using learning management systems, authoring tools and digital learning platforms such as Acorn PLMS, Articulate 360, Vyond or similar.
