OVERVIEW OF ROLE
Flat Pack are seeking a versatile, creative and strategic Social Media & Content Creator to join the team in Collingwood, Melbourne. This hybrid role is designed for a creative social content specialist who excels at the intersection of creative storytelling and performance-driven strategy. The successful candidate will oversee the end-to-end content lifecycle, from conceptualisation and production coordination to performance analysis, ensuring a cohesive brand presence across both organic and paid channels.
This role balances hands-on content creation with strategy whilst maintaining direct collaborative relationships with key clients across a diverse range of industries, including hotels, hospitality, fashion, beauty, sports, events and retail.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the planning, creation, and rollout of social content programs across multiple platforms
- Develop platform-specific content strategies and tactical approaches with key focus on Tik Tok and Instagram
- Ideate and pitch social-first concepts across static, video, and motion to retainer and project clients
- Build and manage monthly content calendars, including scheduling and publishing
- Design and produce social assets, collaborating with designers, producers and creative directors on advanced visual and animated content
- Work with and build upon a brand's identity, developing distinct visual aesthetics in line with a client’s objectives and audience
- Brand led copywriting to support social media feeds, performance and adhoc digital channels
- Support and organise social video and photography shoots, including pre-production, talent coordination, and locations
- Capture and edit midweight photography and lo fi video content using in-app tools and Adobe Creative Suite and where required assist senior production teams pre and on shoot
- Deliver content end-to-end from concept to implementation and reporting
- Present performance reports with clear insights and optimisation recommendations
- Engage directly with client partners to align creative with strategy and gather feedback
- Contribute to new business pitches and cross-functional creative campaigns and projects
- Develop client accounts and new business opportunities
- Able to manage multiple work flows at once, work autonomously and be focused on delivery schedules

EXPERIENCE
- Social media management and content creation experience in an agency setting is a preferred, including lo fi content capture and editing
- Experience managing and growing social media communities
- Graphic design experience for social media communications
