Are you an experienced CSSD Technician who is self-motivated and enthusiastic? We want you to join our dynamic perioperative team at Sydney South West Private Hospital on a part-time basis 24 hours a week.

Sydney South West Private hospital is seeking an experienced CSSD Technician who is self-motivated and enthusiastic. This role is a Part time position, 24 hours a week, working with our Dynamic perioperative team in a state-of-the-art Central Sterilising Services Department.

Sydney Southwest Private Hospital has 84 patient-beds and provides a large range of medical and acute services including; seven operating theatres, Angiography suite, 10 bed Intensive Care Unit as well as a Day Surgery Unit, Mental Health Unit, Oncology Department as well as pharmacy and radiology services.
In collaboration with a large range of accredited private specialists Sydney Southwest Private are leader in comprehensive range of medical and surgical specialties including, but not limited to, neurosurgery, orthopaedics, ear nose and throat, general and plastic surgery, gastroenterology and endoscopy and gynaecology, bariatric surgery, urology and mental health services.
Key Responsibilities:
Essential Criteria:
Previous Experience in a hospital CSSD or operating theatre environment is highly regarded
Certificate III in Steriliastion Services or working towards
Endoscopy expereince or willingness to learn
Strong knowledge of infection prevention and control practices, decontamination, packing and sterilisation processes
Ability to use instrument tracking systems, hospital sorftware and conduct accurate data entry.
