Easts Basketball is one of Sydney's leading community basketball organisations, delivering competitions, training programs and player development opportunities for hundreds of players each week.
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Basketball Coaches to join our growing coaching team.
Whether you are an experienced coach, a current player looking to start coaching, a university student, teacher, or former player wanting to stay involved in the game, we would love to hear from you.
About the Role
As a Basketball Coach, you will work with players ranging from beginners through to advanced junior athletes aged 5–18 years.
Coaching opportunities are available across a variety of programs including:
- Team training sessions
- Learn to Play programs
- Mini League programs
- Skills development programs
- Holiday camps
We are looking for coaches who can create a positive, engaging and supportive environment while helping young players develop their skills, confidence and love for basketball.

Availability
Applicants should ideally be available:
Weekday Coaching
- Monday to Thursday
- Between 3:00pm and 7:30pm
Game Day Coaching
- Sundays
- Between 8:00am and 3:00pm
Additional coaching opportunities may be available during school holidays and special events.
Requirements
- Valid Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Basketball playing and/or coaching experience preferred
- Right to work in Australia
