Evolve Rentals is looking for a Sales & Shuttle Operations Consultant to join our team.
This is a unique, hands-on role that combines vehicle rental sales and customer service with shuttle bus driving and vehicle presentation. Your working days will vary, giving you the opportunity to work across different areas of our business and keep things interesting.
About the Role
On sales-focused days, you’ll work as a Sales Consultant, helping customers find the right rental vehicle and ensuring they receive a friendly, professional experience from booking through to vehicle return.
On operations-focused days, you’ll switch gears and help keep our rental fleet moving and looking its best. This will include driving our customer shuttle bus and carrying out vehicle cleaning, preparation and detailing duties.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Service
- Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service.
- Assist customers with vehicle selections, rental options, insurance coverages, extras and bookings.
- Complete rental agreements, vehicle handovers and returns.
- Explain vehicle features, rental terms and relevant procedures.
- Identify opportunities to provide additional products and services.
- Build positive relationships with customers and contribute to a great overall rental experience.
Shuttle & Fleet Operations
- Safely drive customers to and from designated locations in the company shuttle bus.
- Provide a professional and courteous shuttle service.
- Complete vehicle cleaning, washing and interior detailing.
- Prepare vehicles to a high presentation standard before customer collection.
- Check vehicles for cleanliness, presentation and general condition.
- Assist with moving and positioning vehicles around the rental facility.
- Support the wider team with day-to-day fleet and operational tasks.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, confident and genuinely enjoys dealing with people.
- Comfortable moving between customer-facing sales work and practical physical tasks.
- Reliable, punctual and well presented.
- Organised and able to work independently.
- Detail-oriented, particularly when preparing vehicles for customers.
- A confident and safe driver.
- Comfortable working outdoors and performing vehicle cleaning/detailing duties.
- Flexible and willing to jump in wherever the team needs support.
- Previous car rental, automotive, sales, customer service or detailing experience is advantageous, but attitude and reliability are equally important.
