Where you'll be working
Join the Short-Term Equipment Service at Mount Druitt Hospital, where you'll play an essential role in supporting patient care beyond the hospital walls. Working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you'll help ensure patients have timely access to the equipment they need to safely recover at home, reducing avoidable hospital readmissions. You'll be part of a team that values teamwork, respect, safety and delivering person centred care to the community.

What you'll be doing
This hands-on role is responsible for coordinating, delivering and managing essential medical equipment for patients in the community and outpatient settings. You'll provide outstanding customer service while ensuring equipment is safely issued, maintained and returned, supporting positive patient outcomes.
- Deliver, collect and manage hospital equipment for patients and community clients
- Provide guidance to clients and carers on the safe use of prescribed equipment
- Maintain accurate equipment records using scanners and database systems
- Service satellite equipment stores and maintain stock levels and documentation
- Work independently while collaborating with healthcare professionals to meet patient needs
