The Links Shell Cove is looking for a vibrant, proactive, and customer-focused Full-Time Barista/Cafe All-Rounder to join our hospitality team.

As a full-time member of the team, you will work closely with the Cafe Supervisor, supporting the day-to-day operation of the cafe and helping maintain high standards across customer service, presentation, product quality and overall cafe operations. This role includes the opportunity to act up at times to cover the absence of the Cafe Supervisor.
As The Links operates as both a cafe and bar, the successful applicant will also be required to responsibly serve alcoholic beverages.
An RSA and RCG are required (or willingness to obtain).

About the Role
This role is about much more than making coffee. You’ll be an important part of our hospitality team, working closely with the Cafe Supervisor to create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our guests while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the cafe and may include the following:
Preparing and serving high-quality coffee, beverages and refreshments.
- Assisting with food preparation, light meals and serving baked treats.
- Delivering exceptional customer service and creating a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
- Taking orders and handling cash and EFTPOS transactions accurately.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and well-presented cafe environment.
- Assisting with stock control, replenishment and general cafe duties.
- Working closely with the Cafe Supervisor to support efficient daily operations.
- Helping maintain high standards of service, presentation, and product quality
- Assisting with opening and closing procedures as required.
- Working collaboratively with the wider hospitality team.
- Responsibly serving alcoholic beverages in accordance with RSA requirements.
About You
- Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

- Is reliable, well-presented and a strong team player.
- Has barista experience, with the ability to consistently produce quality coffee.
- Has previous hospitality, cafe food service or customer service experience.
- Is flexible and available to work early mornings, weekends and public holidays.

- Permanent Full-Time role (38 hours per week) including weekend, evening and public holiday shifts, with penalty rates applicable
- Core hours are generally between 6:00am and 2:00pm. Rostered shifts are worked across the venue's operating hours, Monday to Sunday. Specific days and hours will be agreed with the successful applicant.
- Salary range from $1160.85 - $1281.68 per week (depending on skills & experience)
- Plus 12% superannuation
