Procurement ACT has a temporary Assistant Director (SOGC) vacancy available immediately for 12 months, with the possibility of extension up to 24 months and/or permanency.
The Governance and Accreditation team in Procurement ACT focuses on good procurement practices and governance across ACT Government. The team’s primary responsibilities include providing secretariat to the Government Procurement Board, administering the Goods and Services Accreditation Program (including reviewing applications for accreditation and making recommendations to the governing body), and other governance activities. This role and the team regularly liaise with and advise other ACT Government staff and leaders on procurement related activities.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or experience working in the fields of procurement, public policy, law or digital communications is desirable.
Note: This is a temporary position available immediately for 12 months, with the possibility of extension up to 24 months and/or permanency.
A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
