Plastics Manufacturing Operators – Day & Afternoon Shifts

About the Role
We are currently seeking experienced Manufacturing Operators to join a well-established plastics manufacturing and recycling facility in Dandenong South.
We have multiple opportunities available across the production facility, including:
- LCM Operator – Afternoon Shift
- Shredding Operator – Afternoon Shift
- Blending Operator – Afternoon Shift
- marPET Operator – Day Shift
These are hands-on production roles suited to candidates with experience in plastics manufacturing, extrusion, recycling, polymer processing or similar industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor plastics manufacturing and recycling machinery
- Load, process and handle raw and recycled materials
- Monitor production processes and maintain product quality
- Perform manual handling and heavy lifting where required
- Maintain machinery, equipment and production areas
- Identify and report equipment or production issues
- Follow all site safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Maintain strong housekeeping standards
- Work effectively as part of the production team to meet daily targets
What We’re Looking For
- Current Forklift Licence – Required
- Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience
- Plastics extrusion, recycling, polymer or compounding experience highly regarded
- Experience working around industrial production machinery
- Physically capable of performing manual handling and heavy lifting
- Strong safety awareness
- Reliable with a good work ethic and attendance record
- Willingness to learn site-specific machinery and processes
For the marPET Operator position, we are particularly interested in candidates with a higher level of experience within polymer processing and extrusion environments.
