About the role
As the Team Leader, Payments and Receipting, you'll lead a team responsible for ensuring client funds are received, accurately allocated and paid within required timeframes. It's a role where your leadership and attention to detail have a direct impact on the financial wellbeing of our clients. You'll make sure the team delivers high-quality, timely services while also looking for smarter ways to work.
This is an opportunity to combine people leadership, financial operations and continuous improvement, with a strong focus on using technology, automation and better processes to improve the way we deliver services to our clients
Skills & Experience required
You're an experienced people leader who enjoys bringing together people, process and technology to deliver better outcomes. You'll bring:
- Experience leading and supervising a small to medium-sized team.
- Strong financial administration skills, including the ability to review, reconcile and interpret financial information and documentation.
- Proven ability to identify opportunities to improve, simplify and redesign processes.
- Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills, with the confidence to work across teams and with external providers.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex or sensitive issues clearly and professionally.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Sound computer literacy, including experience using Microsoft Office.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in business, finance or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
Experience in financial services, trustee services, pensions, entitlements or personal financial administration would be highly regarded.
