Shape the Future of Children, Educators and Early Learning We are seeking an exceptional professional to join our Kindergarten team at South Sunshine, community-based kindergarten that has proudly supported local families for many years. Leading a team of approximately six educators, you'll have the autonomy to drive cultural change, reset expectations, and embed sustainable practices that deliver exceptional outcomes for children and families. You'll set clear expectations, coach for performance, and build a culture of professionalism and continuous improvement. As Educational Leader, you'll mentor educators and drive reflective practice across the service. You'll work closely with your Early Learning Operations Manager, with support from BPA's Support Hub. You must hold a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent) to ensure you can step in to support ratios when required. - More About You You're reflective, curious and purpose-led, with a deep commitment to making a difference and have experience working with vulnerable children and families. You have exceptional knowledge of the Child Safe Standards, National Quality Framework, Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework, and early childhood regulations. You value kindness and respect and understand that strong leadership means holding people accountable while supporting them to succeed. You're passionate about fostering a learning community that is child-centred, inclusive, and inspiring. You will model child-safe leadership, ensuring child safety and wellbeing are embedded in daily practice, team culture, decision-making and service operations. You have significant experience in a Nominated Supervisor or Centre Director role, with the operational acumen to manage rosters, budgets, enrolments, and compliance requirements.
Essential: * Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent recognised qualification) * Substantial experience in early childhood leadership, ideally in kindergarten settings. * Current VIT registration, Working with Children Check, and any additional employment checks required by BPA. * Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications * Mandatory Reporting certificate
