- Provide personal care including showering, grooming, continence care, dressing, and mobility support.
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, safe swallowing, and dietary requirements.
- Perform high-care clinical tasks in line with competency and training such as:
- Hoist transfers (ceiling, portable, Sera Steady)
- PEG / tube care (if competent)
- Medication assistance
- Catheter care
- Diabetes support (BSL checks, hypo management, meal prompting)
- Implement behaviour support strategies as directed by clinicians.
- Support participants with community access, appointments, and daily activities.
- Maintain accurate progress notes, incident reports, and documentation.
- Uphold participants’ dignity, rights, and autonomy at all times.
- Work collaboratively with families, allied health, nurses, and internal teams.
- Respond calmly and appropriately to emergencies or changes in presentation.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 1–2 years experience in disability, aged care, mental health, or high care.
- Strong competency in manual handling, hoists, and complex care routines.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow detailed care plans.
- Emotional maturity and the ability to work with participants with trauma histories, mobility challenges, or behavioural complexities.
- A proactive, reliable, and compassionate approach to care.

Pay: $32.00 – $35.00 per hour
