What we're looking for
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
Demonstrate relevant clinical experience and contemporary knowledge aligned with the work allocation portfolio areas - Preventative Health.
Demonstrate proficiency in designing, delivering and evaluating clinical education activities which support clinicians to deliver evidence-based contemporary care.
Display advanced interpersonal and written communication skills which enable accurate, timely, and effective information transfer to clinicians in both individual and group education settings to support patient-centred care delivery and staff's professional development.
Serve as a role model by fostering the professional development of others; applying evidence and best practice to patient/consumer care, establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships; and managing a competing priority to achieve positive individual and organisational outcomes.
Work collaboratively and efficiently within both clinical and education teams to meet service imperatives within designated timeframes and available resource.
Mandatory Requirements
Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
Appointment to this position requires evidence of qualification/s and current registration or membership with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
