The business is experiencing rapid growth in the market and as a resultservices of a dedicated Full-time Project Coordinator is needed
As the project Coordinator you will be responsible for a variety of tasks,including:
- Assist in the planning and coordination of project activities, including scope documentation, scheduling, budget support, and procurement planning.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules, tracking milestones, deliverables, resource usage, and critical path activities.
- Coordinate project documentation, including contracts, variations, compliance records, meeting minutes, progress reports, and close-out documentation.
- Liaise with engineers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate communication and ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines.
- Support the preparation of tender submissions, cost estimates, technical proposals, and contract documentation for government and private-sector projects.
- Monitor project progress and assist in identifying risks, delays, and operational issues, and coordinate corrective actions where required.
- Coordinate site logistics, contractor work programs, procurement schedules, and delivery timelines.
- Prepare regular project status reports, financial tracking summaries, and performance updates for senior management.
- Ensure administrative compliance with relevant construction legislation, safety requirements, Australian Standards, and internal quality assurance procedures.
- Organize and facilitate project meetings, stakeholder briefings, and internal coordination sessions.
- Support risk management, quality assurance and compliance activities such as inspections, and project handover procedures.
- Assist in the coordination of multidisciplinary teams across civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical works, particularly for projects involving overhead crane installations and supporting infrastructure.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely completion of project deliverables.
- Assist management with strategic and operational planning initiatives
The Successful Applicant
- Relevant tertiary degree in project management or construction orarchitecture field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in same or similar position.
- Current White Card and driver's license.
- Experience working in a key coordination role between clients, technicalteams, and management.
- Experience in project planning, cost management, quality and riskmanagement, design management, project life cycle, maintain projectrecords, track performance indicators, and support decision-makingprocesses,
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills with attention todetail
- A positive and self-motivated attitude
- Ability to accurately maintain issue logs, risk registers, contracts, and allrelevant project records
- Ability to apply time management, quality management and scopemanagement techniques
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management systems
- Ability to work independently and contribute to team objectives.
- Knowledge of relevant construction legislation, safety requirements,Australian Standards, and internal quality assurance procedures
