Rosehill College is seeking an experienced campus-based Marketing and Communication Trainer / Assessor to deliver and assess nationally recognised BSB qualifications from Term 3, 2026.
Location: Rosehill College, Ultimo NSW
Start Date: Term 3, July 2026
The successful applicant will deliver training and assessment for:
- BSB40820 Certificate IV in Marketing and Communication
- BSB50620 Diploma of Marketing and Communication
- BSB60520 Advanced Diploma of Marketing and Communication
Classes are delivered at Rosehill College's Ultimo campus.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging face-to-face training to domestic and international students
- Assess student work in accordance with training package and RTO requirements
- Provide timely feedback and academic support to students
- Maintain accurate attendance, assessment, and student progress records
- Follow Rosehill College training and assessment strategies, assessment tools, marking guides, and policies
- Participate in validation, moderation, and continuous improvement activities
Essential Requirements
- Current compliant VET trainer/assessor credential, such as TAE40122, or equivalent recognised credential
- Vocational competency in marketing and communication at least to the level being delivered
- Relevant marketing, communication, business, advertising, or digital marketing qualifications
- Current industry experience in marketing and/or communication
- Ability to deliver and assess BSB40820, BSB50620, and/or BSB60520
- Evidence of recent industry currency and VET professional development
- Strong communication, classroom management, and student support skills
- Current Australian work rights
- Availability for weekday campus-based classes in Ultimo from July 2026
Desirable
- Previous RTO or CRICOS teaching experience
- Experience teaching international students
- Experience using aXcelerate or similar student management systems
- Experience in digital marketing, branding, campaign planning, consumer behaviour, market research, and marketing communication planning
