Care by Milli provides compassionate, person-centred in-home care supporting older Australians to live independently and with dignity in their own homes. Gardening and maintenance services play a key role in maintaining safe, enjoyable living environments for our clients in Melbourne South Eastern suburbs and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Lawn mowing, edging, pruning, and weeding
- General garden upkeep and seasonal maintenance
- Basic home maintenance (minor repairs, clearing hazards)
- Maintaining safe outdoor environments
- Communicating respectfully with clients and families
- Reporting hazards, incidents, or maintenance needs
This role is limited to non-trade gardening and basic maintenance tasks only, and does not include:
- Structural repairs or construction work
- Electrical, plumbing, or specialist trade services
- Complex landscaping projects
Skills & Experience
- Experience in gardening or property maintenance
- Ability to work independently
- Strong reliability and communication skills
- Desirable: experience in aged care or community services
Compliance Requirements
- National Police Check
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- Working with Children Check (if applicable)
- Ability to meet health and safety requirements
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform manual tasks, lift equipment, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
