Job description:
We are looking for self-motivated, detail-oriented individuals, capable of organizing and prioritizing tasks effectively. The ability to work well within a team environment, physical fitness for repetitive tasks and heavy lifting, and availability from Monday to Friday are essential requirements.
Casual position on commencement, strong opportunities for permanent full time for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving: Receive incoming materials and supplies, verify quantities, and inspect for damages or discrepancies and report these to procurement and quality control if any. This includes offloading material physically from trucks/containers.
- Put Away: Put away material received from supplier or production to their dedicated locations in the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, including entering data into ERP and conducting cycle counts as and when required. follow-up with relevant stakeholders for all rejected/obsolete/rework inventory available in warehouse.
- Storage: Properly store materials in designated locations within the warehouse, ensuring ease of access and adherence to safety regulations.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards. Ensure all aisles and operational areas are clear and materials are stored according to established guidelines. Also focus GMP of the area specifically assigned by the supervisor.
- Order Fulfillment: Assist picking team members in fulfilling internal material requests and preparing orders for issuance to production lines.
- Documentation: Complete receiving reports, packing slips, and other paperwork accurately and promptly.
- Communication: Collaborate with procurement, production, and quality control teams to address any issues related to received materials.
- Compliance: Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations always.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline receiving and inventory processes and contribute ideas for enhancing efficiency and productivity.
- RMAs: Receive return material from customers, communicate the same to customer service & dispatch warehouse and handover the material physically to them.
- Safety: Wear the required PPEs and report any unsafe acts or near miss as per the established guidelines.
- Ensure warehouse is securely closed & locked up during non-working hours.
- Other duties as directed by reporting manager.

Preferred experience and skills set -
- Trade or tertiary qualifications
- Forklift License
- Previous experience of at least 2 years in Warehousing and Distribution role
- Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Command on basic computer skills – ERP, Pronto, MS Office
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communications (written and verbal)
- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
- General understanding of overall supply chain processes.
