A Head Bar Attendant (also called a Head Bartender or Bar Supervisor in many venues) is responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the bar while providing excellent customer service.
Job Description
- Supervise and lead bar attendants during shifts.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Train and mentor new bar staff.
- Ensure compliance with Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) laws.
- Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and conduct stocktakes.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bar area.
- Handle cash, POS transactions, and end-of-shift reconciliation.
- Resolve customer complaints professionally.
- Assist with staff rosters and ensure efficient service during busy periods.
- Ensure workplace health and safety standards are followed.
Pay: $5,000.00 – $6,700.00 per month
