Your part in Buderim Private Hospital
As a Biomedical Technician you will be accountable for technical support and assistance in the area of medical electronics across Buderim Private Hospital including the installation, repairs and preventative maintenance tasks of new and existing medical equipment and systems.
What makes a difference for us?
Essential
-
Associate Diploma of Engineering (Electronic Systems) or equivalent qualification
-
QLD Restricted Electrical Work Licence or ability to obtain within 6 months
-
At least 2 years’ experience as a Biomedical Technician in the healthcare industry

Experience maintaining medical electronics and/or medical equipment
-
Proficiency in computer skills
-
Advanced knowledge of and experience in applying Standards Australia and other statutory requirements regarding medical equipment

Availability to participate in the 24 hour on-call Biomedical emergency service roster
Desirable

Qualifications in ICT infrastructure, information technology or technical architecture in a clinical discipline

Knowledge and ability with network management
