Join Our Team in Dubbo
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse to join our busy medical centre in Dubbo on a part-time basis.
As a Practice Nurse, you'll work closely with our GPs and healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care across treatment room nursing, chronic disease management, preventative health, and nurse-led clinics. About the Role
In this role, you will:
- Deliver quality nursing care within the treatment room environment.
- Administer vaccinations and assist with immunisation programs.
- Perform clinical procedures including wound care, ECGs, spirometry, dressings, plastering, and suture removal.
- Assist with chronic disease management including Health Assessments, GP Management Plans, Team Care Arrangements, and Reviews.
- Support nurse-led clinics and patient education initiatives.
- Conduct health checks and identify opportunities to improve patient health outcomes.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
- Assist with infection control, stock management, and accreditation requirements.
- Work collaboratively with GPs and the broader healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Essential
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Bachelor of Nursing qualification.
- Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Desirable
- Previous experience in General Practice or Primary Care.
- Experience in chronic disease management and health promotion.
- Minimum 2 years' experience providing direct clinical nursing care.
