Make an impact at Serco
As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you’ll help us deliver secure, reliable and user-centered digital applications across front-end, back-end, integration and cloud platforms. You’ll work within our DTS Products & Digital Capability team, collaborating with product, design, architecture, testing and business stakeholders. Your technical expertise will help us build practical solutions that support important work for governments and communities.
As a Senior Full Stack Developer in the DTS Products & Digital Capability team, you’ll make a positive impact by:

Designing, building and maintaining full stack applications across the technology stack

Developing responsive, accessible and high-performing user interfaces
-
Building scalable back-end services, APIs and integration solutions
-
Implementing efficient database models, queries and data access patterns
-
Contributing to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and production releases
-
Guiding developers, supporting code reviews and promoting maintainable engineering practices.

A relevant degree or equivalent professional experience will support your success, along with senior-level capability in modern software engineering, cloud services, AI, testing, secure development and operational practices. A relevant cloud certification, AI development or demonstrated experience in areas such as DevOps, agile delivery, architecture or software quality would also be valuable.

Strong full stack engineering capability across front-end, back-end, APIs, databases and cloud

Experience with technologies such as TypeScript, JavaScript, C#, Java, Python, Node.js, React, Angular, Vue or .NET

Experience designing secure, scalable REST, GraphQL or event-driven integrations

Practical experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
-
Knowledge of CI/CD, automated testing, containers and cloud services
-
The ability to mentor developers and communicate confidently with technical and business stakeholders
To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen so that we can obtain the required Baseline Defence Security Clearance for you.
