The common objective of the Pharmacy Service is that patients derive maximum benefit from medications whilst being exposed to minimum risk. This purpose will be achieved by the deployment of a skilled and caring pharmacy workforce.
The position will provide high level pharmaceutical services to renal patients of Sunshine Coast Health in accordance with their needs and the policies and priorities of the health service.
Key Responsibilities include:
Deliver efficient and effective pharmacy service to the highest national and international standards of clinical practice complying with the following regulatory, legal and professional requirements.
Exercises independent professional judgement in decision-making and clinical management, handling an increasingly complex and varied caseload beyond that of day-today practice relevant to the discipline.
Is recognised as a reference point for other clinicians in the Renal Department, participates in multidisciplinary team meetings and renal outpatient clinics.
Document clinical activities, incidents and interventions within the clinical pharmacy team, consistent with the general documentation and reporting requirements of the department.
Remuneration value up to $31 471 p.a, comprising salary rates $64.64 - $69.55 p.h., (part time, 15.2 hrs p.f.), employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4). Applications will remain current for 12 months. Please note: only applications from candidates will be accepted (applications that may result in an agency fee will not be considered).
