To successfully cater to our vast and loyal customer base, we are seeking an experienced and qualified Airconditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team.

Skills, Licencing & Experience:
To be successful in this role you will require all of the following:
· Trade Qualifications equivalent to UEE32211 Certificate III in Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration or adequate experience to substitute these qualifications (see below).
· Minimum 1-year full-time experience as an Airconditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic or relevant occupation. Minimum 3 years full-time experience if no formal qualification.
· High level of honesty, integrity, and loyalty.
· Ability to work well under pressure and demonstrate full commitment to workplace health and safety requirements.
· Ability to work successfully as part of a team and autonomously.
· Excellent communication skills and a passion to provide top service to all customers.
· Ability to efficiently manage assigned priorities and always remain respectful to colleagues and supervisors.
Job Description:
As part of your employment, you will be required to complete the following tasks and duties, categorised in their respective sections:
Field Work
· Conduct installation of air conditioning and refrigeration plant and equipment. This may involve measuring and drilling holes, fabrication of piping and mounting brackets.
· Carry out preventive maintenance of air conditioning and refrigeration systems by performing routine checks and reporting status/running conditions of air conditioning and refrigeration plant and equipment. This also involves removing, filling, and testing gas and fluid levels as needed.
· Trouble-shoot air conditioning and refrigeration plant and equipment malfunctions, diagnose problems and perform repairs to faulty air conditioning and refrigeration plant and equipment.
· Manage on-the-job safety of tasks related to preventive maintenance and breakdown response of air conditioning and refrigeration plant and equipment including plant room and workshops.
· Source and order materials required for the operation and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration plant and equipment as required.
· Remove and dispose of all rubbish caused by works and ensure customer sites are kept clean and tidy.
· Maintain job worksheets detailing nature of assignment, parts utilised, time expended, and type of work performed via job management software.
Plant & Equipment
· Carry out inspection of Company plant and equipment as required.
· Carry out preventative maintenance of Company plant and equipment as required.
· Manage inwards and outwards movements of Company plant and equipment as required.
· Carry out Cylinder Tests and complete and maintain records as required.
· Carry out vehicle audits on Company fleet as required.
Health & Safety – you must contribute to a safe and healthy work environment by:
· Reporting all accidents and hazards.
· Avoiding unsafe work practices at work.
· Meeting National Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements and also complying with strategies and goals of the Company WHS Manual.
Other
· Adhere to company policies and procedures.
· Maintain a record of time expended and type of work performed.
· Any other ad hoc tasks that arise at the request of management.
To further clarify, the plant and equipment referred to above includes and is not limited to: air conditioning and refrigeration systems, motors, compressors, evaporators, condensers, copper lines, gauges and switches amongst other components.
