We are seeking an organised and proactive Rostering Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating staff schedules to ensure consistent, high-quality care for our clients. This is a fast-paced position that requires strong communication, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Job Title: Admin & Rostering (Part-Time)
- Employment Type: Part-time (25 hours per week - 5 days per week) Negotiable hours
- Salary: $32 – $35 per hour (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage staff rosters for aged care and disability support workers
- Ensure all shifts are filled efficiently, including last-minute changes and emergencies
- Match support workers to clients based on skills, availability, and cultural needs
- Liaise with staff, clients, and management regarding schedules and changes
- Manage staff availability, leave requests, and shift allocations
- Ensure compliance with NDIS standards, aged care requirements, and employment regulations
- Maintain accurate rostering records and report data in platforms such as ShiftCare
- Minimise overtime and optimise workforce efficiency
- Support client intake administration, including service agreements and onboarding documents
Key Requirements (Essential)
- Experience working in Aged Care and/or Disability (NDIS)
- Previous experience in rostering or workforce scheduling
- Fluent in Vietnamese and English speaking skills (essential)
- Strong understanding of care staffing requirements and compliance
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
- Strong communication and attention to detail
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience working with Vietnamese clients or communities
- Knowledge of rostering systems (e.g., ShiftCare)
- Understanding of cultural needs in aged care and disability services
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
Pay: $32.00 – $35.00 per hour
