This contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys being out in the field, undertaking surveillance, inspections and treatment activities across the Redlands Coast and making a direct impact on community health and environmental outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting pest surveillance, inspections and treatment activities to help reduce public health risks associated with mosquitoes, vermin, fire ants and other designated pests.
Delivering pest management services across scheduled areas, including the safe use of pesticides, pest control products and specialised equipment.
Collecting and recording field data using mobile technology, maintaining accurate records and supporting reporting requirements.
Providing excellent customer service while contributing to a safe, collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Skills and experience:
Experience in pest management, environmental services, biosecurity or a related field will be highly regarded.
Ability to work autonomously in a predominantly field-based role while contributing positively to a team environment.
Experience using technology for data collection, record keeping and managing work activities.
Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with a range of stakeholders.
Physical capability to undertake outdoor work, read maps, operate equipment and safely lift and carry items up to 25kg.

Eligibility:
- You'll hold a Manual 'C' Class Drivers Licence.
- You'll possess a Pest Management Technicians Licence, or the ability to obtain within 3 months.
- You'll hold a Recreational Shipmaster Licence, or the ability to obtain within 3 months.
- You'll possess First Aid Certificate, or the ability to obtain within 3 months.
- You'll possess a VHF marine radio Licence, or the ability to obtain within 3 months.
- You'll possess ”Elements of Shipboard Safety” qualification, or the ability to obtain within 6 months.
- You'll hold a Marine Licence Coxswains GR-2, or the ability to obtain within 12 months.
- This position requires you to complete a Pre-Employment Functional Capacity Assessment.

- To be eligible for employment, applicants must have the legal right to work in Australia.
