Key responsibilities would include:·
Leading the platform cost optimisation agenda across Databricks and associated cloud services.
· Working collaboratively with engineering, architecture, operations, and business teams to identify and implement optimisation opportunities.
· Establishing and tracking optimisation roadmaps, savings targets, and outcomes.
· Providing leadership and direction to a team of engineers focused on platform performance, efficiency, and cost management.
· Driving adoption of best practices across compute, storage, serverless, governance, and operational processes.
· Engaging with vendors and platform providers to leverage new capabilities and optimisation opportunities.
We're looking for someone who can operate at both a strategic and hands-on level, with strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence outcomes across a complex environment.
Pay: From $120,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Sydney NSW
