About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Small Business Specialist – Agribusiness to join our Business Banking team.
In this role, you will support our agribusiness members by building strong relationships, delivering tailored financial solutions, and driving sustainable portfolio growth. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and the local community to deepen member engagement and identify new business opportunities.
This is a relationship-led position requiring a proactive approach to business development and a strong understanding of agribusiness and commercial lending.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Proven experience in business banking, SME lending or agribusiness finance
- Strong financial analysis and credit assessment capability
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise competing demands
- A proactive approach to building relationships within the local business community
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (desirable)

Location & Flexibility
This role is a full-time (38 hours per week) salaried position.
The position will be based in Townsville and may require flexibility to work outside standard business hours to meet business needs.
