We are looking for a friendly, reliable and customer-focused casual team member to join our busy Post Office.
This is a great opportunity for someone with Australia Post, banking, retail or strong customer service/sales experience. Previous Australia Post retail experience is highly desirable.
Hours: Approximately 6–20 hours per week, depending on experience and availability.
Position: Casual/Part- time opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing friendly and efficient customer service.
* Processing customer sales and service transactions.
* Handling cash, EFTPOS, credit cards and other payments accurately.
* Accepting and processing mail and parcels for lodgement.
* Preparing outgoing mail and parcels for dispatch.
* Sorting incoming mail and parcels
* Assisting customers with their postal and retail needs.
* Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
* Assisting with general administrative duties.

Experience & Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of Australia Post retail outlet experience is preferred.
- Banking, retail or extensive customer service/sales experience will also be considered.
- Police Check/Clearance will be required.
- Availability to work during busy periods, including some weekends and Christmas time would be an advantage.
