UPPAREL is Australia's largest mechanical textile recycler — we exist to divert clothing and textiles from landfill and close the loop on textiles. We're looking for a creative, organised Social Media guru to bring our mission to life across Instagram and beyond. You'll work closely with our content team, turning long-form material into snappy, scroll-stopping posts, stories, and ads — and making sure our community feels heard.
What you'll do
Social media posts
Write and schedule engaging posts across Instagram (and other relevant platforms), adapted from long-form content produced by our content team.
Instagram stories
Design and publish Instagram Stories using Canva or similar tools — polls, countdowns, swipe-ups, behind-the-scenes content, and product/program highlights.
Paid social / EDMs
Assist in putting together electronic direct mail (EDM) content and supporting paid social ad creative — copy, assets, and basic briefing.
Community management
Monitor and respond to comments, DMs, and tags across platforms — maintaining UPPAREL's tone of voice, escalating issues where needed.
Reporting
Track basic performance metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth) and share regular updates with the team to inform content decisions
Pay: $52,201.55 – $70,000.00 per year
