Introduction:
Workplace Rehabilitation Consultant (OT, Physio or Psych)
- Permanent Full-Time or Part-Time opportunity: Minimum 3 days per week, Monday to Friday
- Located Brisbane: Involves travelling to workplaces and work from home opportunities
- Remuneration: salary from $95-115k (dependent on experience) + super + up to $15k annual bonus + $1,750 PD allowance + travel allowance
We are seeking a Workplace Rehabilitation Consultant to deliver evidence-based injury/illness management and injury/illness prevention services. Excellent communication skills are required to support individuals and workplaces to achieve meaningful and sustainable outcomes. This role brings a combination of utilising clinical expertise and a philosophy of active early intervention to best improve people’s capacity and return them to what matters most.
Surrounded by experienced experts in occupational rehabilitation, musculoskeletal conditions, and psychological injury, you will be supported to grow your personal impact while shaping the outcomes of others. Your ability to build trust, influence with empathy, and lead with purpose will see you working with some of Australia’s largest organisations - creating lasting change in how people experience recovery, work and wellbeing.
In this role you will:
- Apply your clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes for a variety of clients through effective consulting and case management
- Provide Return to Work services, including Worksite Assessments, Return to Work facilitation and conducting single services (Functional Capacity Evaluations, Vocational Assessments etc)
- Identify return to work barriers and proactively collaborate with a variety of stakeholders (injured workers, employers, clinicians, insurance providers) to achieve positive outcomes for all parties
- Utilise exceptional communication skills to navigate complex scenarios with multiple stakeholders and individual priorities
- Closely consult, collaborate and communicate with insurers and stakeholders, through timely communication and strong clinical reasoning (tailored to the audience)
- Act as a subject matter expert across the organisation for Occupational Health services and skills
- Work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver outcome-focused, professional, and quality care for Axis clients

You will bring the following:
- General registration with AHPRA and a tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy or Psychology
- At least 12months of experience working as a Workplace Rehabilitation Consultant within QLD
- Professional indemnity insurance

- Willingness to undergo background and/or other pre-employment checks
