Where you'll be working
Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital is a major referral hospital located in the northern region of the HNELHD. It has approximately 270 beds, the Critical Care Services is located in the new state of the art hospital complex and boasts an 8 bed ICU, 6 bed HDU, 8 bed CCU, Rehabilitation Unit, Orthopaedics, Hydrotherapy Pool, Musculoskeletal Outpatients and Fracture Clinic.
The Opportunity
Start your physiotherapy career in Tamworth with a great new grad position that offers you experience across a broad range of clinical areas. You'll have the opportunity to develop your skills across ortho, ICU, rehab and many more, while also getting unique to maternity, burns, paediatrics and hydrotherapy.
Working as part of a patient-focused physio team, you'll manage your own clinical workload with the support of experienced senior clinicians. Regular supervision, mentoring and professional development will help you build confidence and develop your skills as you transition into practice.
You'll work closely with a fantastic team to deliver high-quality patient care. The role also includes access to structured education, professional development opportunities and competency-based learning designed specifically for new graduates.
Supported by senior physiotherapists and the Physiotherapy Manager, you'll become part of a wider HNE physio network. Ongoing education is encouraged, with opportunities to attend training sessions, participate in regular professional supervision, and work towards individual development goals. This is a great opportunity to learn from others and build a strong foundation for your physiotherapy career.
