What you'll do
In the Clinical Coding Manager role, you will lead a distributed team of clinical coders and auditors, manage coding workflows across multiple Hospital and Health Service contracts, and ensure coding accuracy, compliance and quality. You will also support statewide coding education, auditing, workforce development and service improvement initiatives.
About you
We are searching for someone who has:
Proof of qualification in ICD-10-AM/ACHI/ACS clinical coding with an appropriate registration authority.
Demonstrated ability to lead a high performing coding team and ensure accuracy, efficiency and compliance in clinical coding.
Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining a Clinical Coding Operational Plan and driving continuous improvement.
Demonstrated ability to lead coding quality improvement activities, audits and statewide initiatives.
High level communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to provide expert advice to executives and clinicians.
Demonstrated ability to manage complexity, lead change, and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
