As a Production Team Leader, you will play a vital role in enhancing the opportunities of our employees with a disability, while ensuring commercial outcomes are achieved. With your natural ability to lead with empathy, you will oversee and guide employees that we support, to meet their employment goals, ensuring their work aligns with their skills while delivering exceptional production outcomes.
Based in our Thomastown (Keon Park) Site you will be scheduled to work Mondays to Fridays between 8.30am to 4pm, permanent full-time position. You will lead and inspire our supported employees in the production and assembly of general and food packaging from our commercial partners within the community.
Other daily tasks are to:

Motivate and mentor a diverse workforce, fostering a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with WHS policies and procedures.

Supervise and guide employees that we support to meet commercial outcomes.

Promote positive behaviour and a collaborative team culture.

Conduct skills training, assessments, and performance appraisals in collaboration with Employment Coaches.

Ensure production meets customer expectations regarding quality, delivery timeframes and business requirements.

What you can bring to the team
- Previous experience in a production environment with a proven ability to coordinate projects and delegate activities to a diverse team.

Experience in disability support will be highly regarded but not essential

Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills to ensure clear and concise information is presented to the team.

Hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card), National Criminal History Check (Fit2Work), and an open Driver’s License.
