The Role
The Scrum Master role drives the consistent adoption of Pepper’s Ways of Working. It enables teams to operate and collaborate effectively by embedding Agile practices and values into planning and day-to-day delivery. The Scrum Master works within the Pepper Scrum Master community to ensure continuous, iterative improvement of Ways of Working across Technology.
Influence and evolve how we work: Act as a catalyst for high-performing Agile delivery, through shaping Scrum and Kanban practices, uplifting team maturity, and embedding consistent Ways of Working.
Facilitate key forums and planning events: Drive synchronisation, accountability, and better outcomes across Pepper
Drive stakeholder alignment: Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to prioritise work, manage competing demands, and deliver against quarterly objectives
Build strong relationships: Create alignment and transparency across business and technology teams, fostering shared accountability for outcomes
Coach and uplift teams: Enable high-performing, self-organising teams through psychological safety, coaching, and a culture of ownership and continuous improvement
Use data to improve performance: Leverage metrics and insights to support better decision-making, sustainable pace, and predictable delivery
Strengthen collaboration: Improve the effectiveness of distributed teams through strong facilitation, communication, and knowledge-sharing practices
Remove blockers: Proactively identify and resolve impediments, risks, and dependencies impacting team progress
Contribute to Agile maturity: Collaborate with the Scrum Master community, act as a thought leader in your areas of interest and expertise, and stay connected to industry trends
About you
We’re seeking a certified Scrum Master with experience leading multiple teams. Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Proactive, learning mindset
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Knowledge of different Agile frameworks
- Desirable: Experience in a scaled environment
