We're excited to welcome a Nurse Practitioner Candidate (NPC) in the role of Emergency Mental Health Parallel Care Clinician (EMHPCC) to our Emergency Department Mental Health (EDMH) Team.

Key Responsibilities include:
The NPC is supported by documentation of clinical learning and competency and academic achievement. The NPC position is grounded in the nursing professions values, knowledge, theories and practice and provides innovative and flexible healthcare delivery that compliments the entire health care system.
Assume responsibility and accountability for ensuring Nursing and Midwifery Board Australia (NMBA) and own standards and actions (at advanced level) and the delegation and supervision of care to a Registered Nurse (RN), Enrolled Nurse (EN) or unregulated healthcare worker.
Lead the achievement of positive patient outcomes across the nursing care continuum by demonstrating advanced professional leadership and specialist nursing by:
Working with Nurse Practitioners (NP) to develop and support nursing care at an expert level, demonstrating NMBA specialist nursing care requirements and professional standards required to support application for NP endorsement.
Remuneration based pro rata on equivalent full time value up to $173 368 (f/t) p.a., comprising salary rates: $70.58 - $76.63 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 7) (Two Fixed Term Temporary Part time positions available, 70 hrs p.f. for 2 years).
