As a Principal Team Leader you will:
- Lead, manage and evaluate the development and implementation of high-quality Community Recovery grant programs.
- Lead, manage and evaluate governance practice required to ensure the effective management and administration of the Community Recovery grant programs in accordance with the Queensland Disaster Funding Guidelines (QDFG).
- Build and maintain productive working relationships and partnerships across government, industry, and non-government organisations to develop and implement operational policy and business rules focused on continual enhancement of the services.
- Investigate, interpret and provide authoritative advice and assistance regarding financial assistance schemes with regard to the administration of the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements and State Disaster Relief Arrangements.
- Prepare complex submissions, reports, executive briefs and other correspondence on significant financial assistance issues and contribute to operational planning processes.
- Manage human, financial and physical resources, including project specific teams ensuring effective governance, a culture of client services and the achievement of outputs required.
- Coach and mentor staff in their development, ensuring both consistency and equity in the provision of quality financial assistance and administration services and that the necessary skills and motivation exists within the team to respond to client needs.
