Perth Fitout specialises in manufacture and installation of high end Commercial Joinery and Shop Fitouts for our commercial and retail clients.
We are looking for a qualified Fixing Carpenter who is committed and takes pride in their work to join our team. Your key responsibility of the role will be to install joinery and complete fitouts based on shop and construction drawings.
The successful candidate will be responsible for producing work of a high standard whilst working within deadlines and time frames.
Works will be site based and may be all over the metro area anywhere from Clarkson to Mandurah.
Skills and experience
- Must be highly organised and able to work to schedules and lead times.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a qualified capacity, with trade certification.
- Read and interpret construction and shop drawings
- Previous experience in a commercial/retail environment, installing shop fronts, hanging doors and associated hardware, installing joinery units, skirting, cladding and constructing timber framework.
- Flexible and highly reliable attitude with a strong work ethic
- Must possess an exceptional eye for detail
- Have the ability to take direction when needed as well as sharing information and assisting where possible
- Able to work in a clean and tidy fashion and reflect this in your workshop surrounds
- Facilitate a team mentality in the workshop and assist your peers to work to the best of their potential
Pay: $40.00 – $43.00 per hour
