Warehouse Manager
Location: Riverwood, NSW

We are a long-established wholesale importer and distributor of quality tiles, supplying customers across Australia. We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Warehouse Manager to take ownership of our warehouse operations and lead our warehouse team.
This is an important leadership position for someone who enjoys improving operations, developing people and creating a productive, organised and accountable warehouse environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for the overall performance and day-to-day management of our warehouse operations across two nearby locations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead, manage and motivate the warehouse team.
- Plan daily workloads, staffing and operational priorities.
- Drive productivity, accountability, attendance and performance across the team.
- Ensure customer orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time.
- Maintain high standards of inventory accuracy and stock control.
- Manage stock breakages, variances and warehouse damage.
- Maintain a clean, organised and efficient warehouse environment.
- Oversee warehouse layout, storage and space utilisation.
- Ensure forklifts and warehouse equipment are operated safely and maintained appropriately.
- Conduct regular toolbox talks and maintain strong WHS standards.
- Monitor warehouse operating costs.
- Manage external supplier relationships and 3rd party negotiations.
- Identify inefficiencies and implement practical improvements.
- Work closely with Despatch, Administration and Management to ensure smooth operations.
- Report on warehouse performance, issues and improvement opportunities.
About You
We are looking for a confident and capable warehouse leader who takes genuine ownership of their operation.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Manager, Warehouse Supervisor or similar leadership role.
- Proven experience managing and motivating warehouse teams.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Excellent organisation, planning and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with inventory control, picking, packing and despatch.
- A strong understanding of warehouse WHS requirements.
- Good computer and warehouse systems skills.
- A current Australian Forklift Licence and current Drivers Licence.
- A hands-on leadership style and willingness to work alongside your team when required.
Experience within tiles, building products, construction materials or heavy/bulky goods would be highly regarded.
