Your new role:
As a Clinical Nurse within the Logan Central Continuing Care Team, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering specialist community mental health care while providing clinical leadership and supporting a culture of continuous improvement by:
Providing advanced clinical assessment, care planning and coordination for consumers with complex mental health needs.
Leading and supporting nursing staff through mentoring, education and clinical guidance.
Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred care.
Contributing to quality improvement, research and evidence-based practice initiatives.
Supporting service development, clinical governance and safe, high-quality care.
Assisting with team coordination, change management and professional practice activities.
About you:
We're looking for an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse who is passionate about mental health and committed to delivering exceptional care with:
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
Demonstrated experience in contemporary mental health nursing practice.
Strong clinical judgement, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong therapeutic relationships.
A collaborative approach and the ability to lead, mentor and support colleagues.
A commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous improvement and professional development.
A current Class C driver's licence (or ability to obtain prior to commencement).
