New Dimensions Health Club is currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Casual Receptionist and Creche Attendant. This position requires the ability to work at both our Leonay and Mount Druitt facilities. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service at the reception desk and ensure the safe and engaging supervision of children in our creche area.
Must be available to work Wednesday and Thursday 8:00am-11:00am and 4pm-8pm (more shifts will come available.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist members and visitors in a friendly and professional manner at the reception desk.
Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries, ensuring prompt and accurate responses or redirection to the appropriate staff member.
Perform general administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and maintaining member records.
Process membership applications and payments accurately and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked.
Ensure the safety and well-being of children in the creche area, providing a positive and engaging environment.
Supervise and interact with children, organizing age-appropriate activities to keep them entertained and stimulated.
Monitor sign-in/sign-out procedures, ensuring proper identification and authorization for child pick-up.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the creche area, including sanitizing toys and equipment on a regular basis.
Requirements:
Previous experience in customer service, reception, or child care is preferred but not required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both adults and children.
Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
A positive and friendly attitude, with a genuine passion for providing exceptional customer service.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
WWCC, Current First Aid and CPR certification.
